What if there was a way for you to explore creating the life of your dreams? For you to be supported on the path to making your dream come true? It turns out – this is possible.

This is exactly what our clients are doing using various coaching modalities to find or carve out that path for themselves while navigating obstacles and adversity with the tools they learn from their program.

My Story

Growing up, I did all the things that was expected of me. At least, what I thought was expected of me. I wasn’t perfect, but I tried so damned hard to be. I got good grades and mostly stayed out of trouble. I finished high school, got married, went to college, got divorced, began my corporate career, remarried, had kids, stayed at home with them, volunteered with their activities… and then there was no more, “this is next.”

Until then, there was always a supposed “next step” according to society as I saw it. I was feeling quite unfulfilled and lost. On paper, I had the ideal life. A wonderful husband who supported me both financially and emotionally. A grown step-daughter and teen-aged son I adore. Tons of opportunities all around me; but, I couldn’t see them.

Deal with it.

Deal with what? I had a good life. I had no reason to feel the way I did. Therefore, I ignored it until…

We were evacuated from our home due to a wildfire. I was home alone at the time (hubby was at work) so I had to make all the decisions about what I needed to take and what I could leave behind. For years, I had abdicated all decisions to someone else. I had been apathetic about everything in my life. Now I had big decisions to make that could impact my whole family, and I had to make them fast.

This woke me up!!

During the month that we were evacuated, so many feelings bubbled up. On top of that, it was as through a blurry lens was lifted and I began to see things differently. With that came questions. Questions I could no longer ignore. Questions like:

  • Who am I?
  • What is important to ME?
  • What do I want?
  • Where am I going?
  • What is my purpose now?

When we returned, these questions took over my life. My perspective on nearly everything shifted in some way. I scoured the internet searching for tools. I found self-improvement and journaling prompts.

I read everything I could. I listened to guided meditations and worked on the free prompts. It all felt like home. I had been introduced to self-improvement in my corporate days; back then, it was cool and great advice that I put on the shelf and quickly forgot about. Now, I began to incorporate it into my life. But still, I could not answer those questions.

That's when I found a life coach.

By now, years had gone by. When I finally made the decision to work with a coach, my whole world shifted again.

Suddenly, I had someone who would help me examine all the questions and prompt me with some that I hadn’t considered. Someone who could see my blind-spots and point them out. A coach who was completely neutral, never judged me, and only wanted what was best for me. She helped me to see my value and purpose for this next phase of my life.

One day she asked, “If you could talk to anyone all day, what would you talk to them about?”

That's when I knew I wanted to be a coach.

Coaching would allow me to help others the way my coach had helped me. My talent for organizing and systematizing would help others to find solutions that fit their lives. So I enrolled in a certification program then completed my practice hours so I could become a certified life coach.

It doesn't have to feel this way

Today, I help people like you to move from that stuck feeling to freedom and make progress in creating the life of their dreams. I’ve helped people, who were like me, to figure out what their new next step is – the one that is just for them. I’ve helped them become more comfortable with who they are. I’ve helped them deal with the overwhelm of organizing their life and creating an action plan to make progress on their goals.

My goal is to be like a boxing coach. I’m always in your corner, cheering you on, but I’m not afraid to tell you like it is, and patch you up while you learn how to dodge the punches.

If you can dream it, we can build it. One phase at a time.
